Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Hope is an extremely happy girl who wants nothing more than to play with toys and be given lots and lots of belly rubs.  She is new to her foster home but is getting along with her 2 foster brothers (both dachshunds) fairly well.  She currently does not share toys and wants to eat everyone’s food but with time that should pass.  Hope does not appear to have any formal training but she does react when you say her name and she knows that “No” is you directing her to stop what she is doing.  Hope has the energy of a puppy and although she will relax on your lap she prefers to be playing with her ball or her Kong toy.  Hope only barks when she hears other dogs barking.
