Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Loretta seems to be shy and timid at first, but if you give her enough space to get familiar with her surroundings she will open up to you fully and show you how thankful she is for your patience. Loretta is the best of both worlds in relation to affection and independence, especially if you provide her with a “She Shed” (crate or area dressed with blankets toys and near by watering bowl) to escape to.  We have found she uses her own space to have a relaxing nap in or just to hang out while you make dinner.
