Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

This is one special dog!!!  Kim is a rare find and I would categorize her as a Doxidor.  She looks like a labrador puppy and is long like a Dachshund.  She has the temperament of a Lab, too.  She is very sweet and laid back.  This special girl enjoys play time, loves toys and fetching.  But like a Dachshund, she is a snuggle buddy on the couch!  Such a fantastic personality combo of a pup with this girlie! Kim is learning quickly how to potty outside.  She is very smart.  She is not food aggressive at all and does not have to be the leader of the pack. When it comes to barking you won’t hear much from this pup. My fur is beautiful and soft so pet me often!  Kim will follow you everywhere and is extremely loyal.  Sadly, Kim is afraid of men.  She takes quite a while to warm up to any male.  Her foster father is working hard at earning her trust.  This is going well so far and I don’t think it will take too much longer before she will be in his lap enjoying lots of love.  Kim’s foster family is already dreading the day she finds her forever family.
