Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

George is a very sweet boy who loves to please his people. He follows his foster mom around the house like a second shadow, even following me into the shower! He does have separation anxiety when she leaves to go to work and will howl for a few minutes after foster mom leaves. He does very well in the kennel and does not try to get out of the kennel once he is in it. He is very good about going to the bathroom outside when taken out. He had one accident his first night, but has been a proper gentleman about the bathroom since! He loves to play with his foster’s male dachshunds and he loves all of the squeaky toys! He loves the fox the best and he will dig through the basket until he finds the fox and then will run around and around the house with his favorite toy. He has been great with our cats and has not barked at them once. He is timid around men and we are working to show him that from here on out he will only be loved on by everyone. George needs some love and training, but will make someone the perfect pet!
