Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Jane is a sweet, lovable, snugly little girl that just wants to please her people. Although she has only been with us for a few days, she has not had any accidents in the house or in her crate while we are gone. She's very quiet and just wants to be near one of us. She takes a couple of minutes to warm up to new people she meets but once she see's you are not going to hurt her, she will wag her tail and sit right next to you. We have a dramatic cat that likes to hiss and slap at the dogs but when she does this to Jane, it does not seem to phase her. Jane will just walk away as if the cat wasn't even there. When she first met each one of our dogs, her fur was standing up on her back but only until we let her know it was OK and pet her, then she was fine and she hasn't had any issues whatsoever with any of them. Jane just wants a home where she will get unconditional love.
