Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Julia is an absolutely beautiful dog. She contains every breed quality of a dachshund you could ever want. She is very sweet, likes to sleep a lot and is housetrained. She is new to foster care, so her full personality hasn't come to life yet, but so far she seems like a treasure. She came into rescue because her owner had to go into assisted living, and you can tell Julia has been in a loving home and was well cared for. She is an older, calmer, quieter girl so would probably do well in a similar type household. She doesn't mind being in a crate, but prefers the comforts of an open dog bed. She enjoys being outside and exploring the backyard. More info to come as this special gal settles into a new loving home.
