Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

My name is Sarah and I’m the sweetest puppy you've ever met.  You'd never guess I was found in a dumpster with my siblings!  Don't feel sorry for me though, you'd never know I had such a bad start in life, that's all in my past now.  I have a long back like a Dachshund but since I wasn't found with my parents, it's your guess of what I might be mixed with.  I'm 100% cute baby though.  I've gained some much-needed confidence and will play with my brother and sister.  We like to rough house, chew on toys, run around the house, and practice our bark and growl.  When it's time to rest, I'm happy to sleep in my crate.  I'm learning to use my pee pads and I'm doing better each day.  I have a hardy appetite and will let you know when it's time to eat.  When I first meet strangers I get scared but warm up super fast.  I'm excited to meet my new forever family so if that's you, apply for me today!
