Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

He is a mellow, small, easy, older dog. He likes to get his back scratched. He does great on a walk and really enjoys exploring the backyard. He easily goes into his crate to sleep at night. He is being fostered with another middle aged dachshund, and they are doing well together, both minding each other's business most of the time. Johnny was living with an older couple for several years until they could no longer care for him. He has been well taken care of, in fact a little too well in the food department, but we're working on slimming him down.  He is comfortable in any home situation and has good manners. If you want a sweet, quiet and calm little man who won't be any trouble but will give lots of love, then this is your guy.
