Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Belle is a sweet, gentle girl!  She is calm and quiet and loves to nap. She likes to burrow under blankets and sometimes just buries her head.  Sometimes she flinches when you pet her unexpectedly, and she is very timid and shy around new people at first. She's already made great progress in adjusting to her foster home in just a few days. She loves to sleep on the sofa on a blanket, preferably cuddled up next her foster mom.  She's a great napping buddy.  She prefers to follow her foster mom around from room to room but will sometimes be content to watch from her sofa spot.  She is crate trained and is happy staying in her crate during the day.  She will occasionally play with a sock or toy.  She likes her own bed at night and loves sleeping in her crate in the bedroom with the door open. She doesn't make a sound and sleeps until you wake her up. She is fully potty trained!  She loves to explore the back yard and was found sunbathing on the porch and in the grass a few times over the weekend. She is a sweet, wonderful companion dog who is blossoming more every day, and she is ready for a new family that will care for her for a long time!
