Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Karen is the runt of the litter but has plenty of spunk to tackle her other siblings.  She doesn't let on that she's small and loves to play, wrestle and cuddle with her foster siblings.  Her love for playtime is only surpassed by her love for food, and we are working to slow her down during meal time.  Karen is a very clever girl and knows how to thoughtfully get what she wants.   She freely gives kisses but it's her eyes that make you melt.  At an early age she figured out how to use pee pads and now her training has moved to sit/stay commands (see video).  Like her mother, she appears to be getting a wire hairstyle and a love for ear rubs.  Her Mom is a soft, wire-haired black/white, tweener sized, piebald dachshund and Dad is unknown.
