Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Shireen is a gentle, sweet, girl who loves to sit in your lap and give kisses. She is house trained, and she  does well walking with a harness and leash..  She loves to be outside so that she can explore the yard and chase birds. A fence is required for this athletic girl.  She does well with her foster sister, and she will sleep either in a crate or in her doggy bed.  When she is stuck inside, her favorite thing is to look out the window; her foster mom pulls up the shades so that she can see outside.   Originally, she was timid toward her foster dad, but has warmed up tremendously. Currently, she's sitting on his lap watching TV.  She loves to follow her foster mom around the house, and often nudges her leg for a pat on the head.  Shireen will make a great companion once she has had time to decompress and get her bearings around her new house.  If Shireen is your girl, complete an application today!
