Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

My name is Miles and I am an absolute lovebug. I may be a senior,  but I still have  enough pep in my step to get by with the younger crowd. I am a mellow guy who enjoys the simple things in life like lounging on the sofa , burrowing under blankies, roaming the yard,  belly rubs, and head scratches. My favorite place is in a lap where I will sleep like a baby.  I am working on crate and house training in my new foster home and doing pretty well at both. I am mild mannered , don’t bark very much, and take food and treats gently. I get along great with everyone -  men, women, big and little kids, dogs, and cats. I’m looking for a lovely retirement home where I will get lots and lots of attention and affection, because I have both to give in spades.
