Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Dobby is a young, sweet, energetic boy who LOVES to play. Seriously, this guy can't get enough play time. If he's not sleeping, he's playing with his foster sister and brother. He has even gotten a grumpy senior dog to play with him!​ Dobby is very affectionate and shows that he just wants to please his human. He is working on house training, he is crate trained, and he does great on a leash. Dobby is high energy - he needs a lot of play time and interaction. He is allowed to sleep in the human bed with foster mom and other dogs, and is learning that bed time means play time is over. Once settled down, he sleeps through the night, under the covers, next to foster mom. Dobby has not displayed any aggression over food, toys,​ space, people, or to other dogs, even when they reprimand him for being a little too playful. He is excited and friendly when he meets new people and dogs. He will do best in a home with a playmate who will keep up with his antics.​
