Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Stout and spunky, she'll let you know when its time to eat, go outside, or play.​ She makes quick friends with people and other dogs... as soon as they realize that she growls when she plays, the game is ON!​ Gentle, sneaky, a little spicy, she loves to play for a few minutes and then its time to give you kisses and cuddle up to sleep. Such a happy sweet girl, she loves a scratch behind the ear and a bowl of food, and another bowl... and maybe what you're eating too!​ She isn't rude about it, but she would love it if you'd share your scraps.​ ​ She knows how to use the dog door to come in, but would prefer you open the door for her to go out. She's great on a leash but doesn't seem to need it - responds well to being called and told to stop, but like most dachshunds she doesn't understand the word 'sit'
