Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Woof, my name is Leo. I'm not a lion, but a small cuddly cute canine. I tend to be quiet and sleep a lot.​ When I'm not sleeping, I like to chew or play with my toys.​ You can toss my toys for me to fetch, but I am also happy playing by myself and exploring.​ If you sit next to me, I view that as an invitation to sit on your lap. I enjoy short walks and will walk up to arbitrary garage doors thinking I live there.​ I can be affectionate, but I also don't always need your attention.​ Noise, loud or soft, doesn't bother me as I don't hear it.​ But I notice every movement that my two-legged temporary hu-mom makes even when it looks like I'm asleep.​ I will go to my hu-mom when she stoops and waves for me to come to her.​ My hu-mom told me she can't help but smile whenever she sees me walk because I walk like I own the sidewalk, and my ears flap in the wind like J-Lo with a wind machine.​ I hope you will take me home; we will make each other smile.
