Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Hi, I’m Autumn. I was rescued by DROH recently and have been staying with my new foster mom. I have adapted quickly to living in a house, as I was an outdoor dog previously. I’ve taken to the leash well, and enjoy my walks with my foster sisters. They have taught me that lizards are fun to chase, so I love exploring in the garden! I am now very good at going potty outside. I love to sleep, and am very happy to be in the very comfortable bed at my foster’s mom’s feet while she is working, and when she’s not, I know the couch is for relaxation. I am also happy to curl up with one of my foster sisters, particularly in the sun on the weenie ramp. I sleep in a crate without a peep, but I’m not keen on being left in a pen when my foster mom goes out so she is now trusting me to be with the other dogs when she goes out. I have a very healthy appetite, and I have learned that I mustn’t steal my foster sisters’ dinner. I’m also well-behaved in the car. Really looking forward to getting my forever home.
