Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

This charming little guy may have had a tough start in life, but he hasn’t let it dim his spirit. Stu is full of love and eager to share it. He thrives on affection and is happiest when he’s close to his person — he’s his foster mom’s loyal little shadow, following her everywhere with adoration in his eyes.

Stu is getting along well with his two dachshund foster sisters, though his true preference is human attention. He’s a cuddle bug through and through, and once he bonds with you, he’s all in. At night, he sleeps best in the big bed, snuggled up right next to the one he loves.

Though a bit timid at first, Stu is blossoming in his foster home — he’s starting to show his playful side, give sweet kisses, and request belly rubs with his adorable little paws. His velvet-soft coat makes all that snuggling even better, and his expressive face — complete with a smile you have to see to believe — is full of personality.

Stu also has a quirky little habit that makes him extra endearing: he occasionally snaps at imaginary flies, which always gives his foster family a laugh.
