Gidget is a very affectionate lap warmer, and is an all-around great dog.  She is low maintenance, well-behaved, and a joy to have around.  I don't think she has ever met a stranger.  She got attached to me very quickly.  After a day with me, upon my return after an hour away from her, she greeted me like I was away for the longest time.  I'm pretty sure she would do the same for her new human.  Gidget knows how to make herself at home; she jumped onto the sofa without invitation.  The sofa is her favorite spot; she likes to keep an eye on me from there.  

 

Gidget was very well behaved on the ride home in her crate.  I've left the crate door open at home, and she has gone into it on her own.  It might be because it was the spot closest to me that had a cozy floor cover.  Gidget  is a great walking companion; I hardly feel her on the leash.   Gidget has discernible taste in food.  She would eat some dry dog food when I hand fed her.  She ate more when I added some wet dog food. She is not a greedy dog, and doesn't beg for food. Gidget's coat is lovely and soft; it's so nice and soothing to stroke her.  It's a win-win as Gidget loves the attention and affection.
