Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Hello all. My name is Peanut Primrose and I'm a small, little wire boy who wants a human or two or three to love. I am not bothered by any other dogs and the vet clinic says they absolutely love me. I had an unfortunate situation where my previous owner took me somewhere and forgot to put me and my siblings back in the car. Thankfully some nice people found us and one put me in touch with DRoH. Now I have a warm bed, good food and foster sisters! I will sleep in my crate but I prefer to sleep in someone's lap. Matter of fact, I will follow my humans anywhere, including the shower. I'm not letting them out of my site ever again! If I have a choice between a bowl of food and a comforting hand petting me, well, I choose the hand. My foster Mom says I may be a little needy but that it's part of my charm. So the bottom line is if a human is home, I want to be with them. If the resident human leaves, then I'll whine a bit but then settle down and wait for their return. I'm a happy boy who wants a human to love. I would love to meet you! xoxo, Peanut
