Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

June is the nicest dog I have ever met. Who knows what she has been through, yet she is constantly wagging her tag and wanting to be pet and cuddled. She is extremely excited to see me when I walk through the door and is always wagging her tail so hard. Any sad mood can be brought up by June. She is extremely playful and loves to go outside. She loves going on walks and loves barking at the squirrels in the yard. She remains quiet throughout the day but likes to bark along with my current dachshund. June loves to cuddle and nap, just like all dachshunds!
