Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Pepper is a really sweet girl and highly intelligent. She catches on very quickly to commands. She's eager to please her humans. She is potty trained and did not have a single accident in the house. She sleeps well in her crate with a peanut butter filled Kong. She loves the backyard because she gets the "zoomies" and likes to show off how fast she can be.

She is skittish around new people at first, but warms up very quickly and then wants to be by your side at all times. She loves belly rubs and head scratches. She gives very gentle kisses. She learned the sit command very quickly, but we are still working on no jumping. She comes quickly when called, especially if you make the kissy noise. She's very good about the leave it command.

She wants nothing more than to be loved and played with. She would really enjoy another rough and tumble pup to play with or some kids that would wear her out with playing fetch in the backyard. She is a curious girl, but she learns so quickly. She has been truly a joy to have for the short period she's been with us. We grew very fond of her very quickly.
