Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Hi! I'm Midge. My foster mom and dad say that I am the sweetest girl and whoever adopts me will be super lucky to have me. I get along great with my two foster sisters who are also dachshunds. I sleep well in my crate at night without a peep. When they get home from work, I am super excited to see them and shower them with kisses. I am a slow eater but I do get excited at meal time. They are working with me on the sit command and the leave it command. I think I'm doing pretty good so far. I have only had one accident in the house. I'm getting used to their routine and family life. I am very eager to make them happy so I do my best to be a good girl. I love cuddling on the couch in the evening times but the TV kind of freaks me out. I like to bark at it sometimes. I'm figuring out toys and decided that I really like them. I especially like the bright colored parrot toy that has a squeaker in it. I hope to meet you soon. Are you my forever family?
