Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Applejack is anxiously awaiting his new best buddy! ​ He is super sweet and gets along very well with his foster doggy brothers. Applejack enjoys looking out of the house windows as he is still scoping out a new yard. He seems to be so proud of all his ideal dog virtues that he practically prances like royalty when he walks! ​ But who would not be impressed with a petite, gentle, intelligent, house broken pup who follows basic command requests, ​ is great on a leash, ok in the car, is crate trained, not food aggressive, and very willing to sit in line for doggy treat time? While he naps occasionally during the day on a dog pillow - Applejack slept his first night at the foster house in his dog crate without a single whine. ​ Perhaps he would be a welcome companion for someone especially looking for a more quiet pet as he has been so calm that the foster family has yet to hear him bark.
