Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Hi I'm Whiskey, I kinda like my name since it goes well with my best friend and companion Brandy.​ I get lonely without her, so I hope you have room in your​ heart for the two of us.​ I'm a little guy but I am handsome, and will steal your heart when I cuddle next to you.​ My favorite things to do are road trips, exploring the backyard, short walks and napping.​ I am house trained and love to use the doggy door because I can soak up some sun on the patio while I guard the yard.​ I will let you know when you have a visitor at the door, but once I meet them, I'm good.​ I am not crazy about playing with toys...I'd rather be more productive like finding a frog or something.​ Besides, that squeaky noise that comes out of those things is so annoying!!​ I don't require a lot, I just want to share the rest of my life with someone who may be a little lonely or needs a best friend.​ Can that be you?
