Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Update: She is a real sweetheart. She likes to look out the glass front door and talk to all the passersby. I am trying to train her not to bark or to stop at my signal. She loves to go for a walk and she is very playful. She acts like a puppy! She loves to cuddle on my lap and is getting along well with the rest of her foster siblings. Hello, my name is Laurel and I love cuddles and pets. My favorite thing is to snuggle up to my foster mom on the couch with a fuzzy blanket. However, with three pups and a active toddler she doesn't have much time for cuddles. Insert Sad Puppy Face. I would really love if my furever home has an amazing person that wants to laze around with me. Right now I am able to go potty on the pad but my foster mom wants to have me go outside. Sometimes I am great with telling her, but there are times when I get nervous and have an accident. I am training with another puppy though so I am picking it up quickly.​ My foster mom says I am doing great using the restroom outside. Sometimes I fib and say I need to go outside to potty but I really just want to soak in the sun. (hehe) If I am not outside sunbathing, I am usually napping around on some pillows.​
