Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Dove is 100% Sweetness in an adorable ten pound cuddle friend who is just waiting for her new family! She quickly adapted to and settled into her foster home. She is eager to be with you and graciously, quietly follows everywhere. She is delighted with every opportunity to soak up some petting and snuggles under your arm. ​ Dove has very soft short fur that has not been shedding. ​ She would be a great dog for someone who might be sensitive to a dog hair situation. ​ She only occasionally softly snores (kind of like a cat purring) and regards her crate as a comfortable private retreat at night. ​ Dove just melts your heart with her eagerness to greet you when you open her crate door in the morning.​ She would be content to spend some time crated if the owner might need to be temporarily away for a couple of hours during the day. She has not shown any resource guarding behavior with food or personal space.
