Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Malia enjoys a good cuddle session or a good nap on the couch (preferably on top of the cushions). Her personality is starting to come out and she is showing how playful, loving, and loyal she can be. She whines initially after going to her crate, but settles nicely once she realizes a good nap is needed. Malia enjoys hanging on the couch, and specifically likes to hang out on the armrest. She is a curious dog, so she will follow you to see where you are going and what you are doing (even if that is to the bathroom)! Malia seems very eager to please, but of course, as a dachshund, is very picky on what treats you are using to motivate her.
