Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

name is Koda, I’m 2 years old and my foster mommy is still trying to figure me out. She took me to a t-ball game and I liked most of the kids that wanted to pet me but I growled at some of em and she’s not sure why. I’m not housebroken but my foster mom is trying to teach me that I have to potty outside. I follow her everywhere including the bathroom just to make sure I don’t miss anything. I love to cuddle up and lay next to mom while she’s watching tv, and will chase a ball forever. I don’t understand that I have to bring it back for her to throw it again but I get it most of the way back. I like sleeping in the big bed down by my moms feet and when mom is busy I like to cuddle with dad. I’m figuring out the doggy door and moms hoping that helps me with my potty training, I think that’s what she calls it. I love being outside and barking at the horses and cows and running around the backyard with my foster brothers. I don’t bark as much as my foster brothers do but when they get going I start howling… mom says it’s cute. I give kisses when I really like you just so you know you are special. I’m looking for a home with another dog my age that can keep up with me cuz all my foster brothers are older and slower. But I don’t want another dog that’s gonna pick on me because my previous brother picked on me and that makes me nervous when other dogs growl at me.
