Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Snow is such a happy puppy who would make the best addition to any family. Although he's still a young puppy, he's surprisingly calm and very happy to entertain himself with toys if no one in the house currently wants to play. When he can convince his foster fur siblings to play, he makes sure to adjust to their level and is calmer with his older fur brother and more energetic with his fur sister.

Snow absolutely loves to be with his people, either being held in their arms or sitting in their laps. His foster mom is his current favorite person, but he's happy to hang out with his foster dad when she's out of the house. When his foster parents work from home he spends all day sitting in their laps napping, with short breaks to chew on a toy or go outside.

In general Snow is extremely quiet, even when his foster fur siblings are barking at strange noises. The only time he really barks is when he's left in the kennel so his foster parents can run errands. He does settle down once he realizes they're gone, but will continue to make noise if they're still around and just trying to keep him out from underfoot. He truly thinks his calling in life is to be a purse pup who gets to go everywhere!

Snow has been working on his potty training, and is very good as long as his foster parents are consistent. Whenever there's a change in his environment (waking up from a nap, done playing with his foster fur siblings, finished eating a meal), his foster parents take him to the back yard and he knows to do his business.

Although Snow still needs the rest of his vaccinations before he can go for walks or be on the ground in public, he's been going in the dog stroller on walks with his foster fur siblings to get to know the neighborhood. He's been extremely friendly with all of the people he's met, letting them hold him and giving out kisses. He hasn't had a chance to meet many kids, but seems like he would do fine with considerate kids who are careful with how small he is.

If you want your days to be filled with puppy snuggles, adorable head tilts, and bursts of play - then Snow is the one for you!
