Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Just as cute as can be - Didi is a handsome  red/ black brindle shorthair dachshund that will brighten and bring absolute joy to a new home.  She gets along very well with her two foster dog brothers.  DiDi has learned to spend a quiet night in her crate and  just warms your heart when she excitedly greets you first thing in the morning. She quickly learned what the trip “Outside” means and  is now the first one out the door.  She is very eager to please and graciously walks with you on a leash.   She listens intently for your verbal encouragement, but a treat in hand is sure to capture hier attention.  Didi is very appreciative of all the cuddles that you are willing to share. She snuggles in as your couch companion because she loves to be right with you.  This sweet pup will follow wherever you go.  Didi is a very attentive, intelligent dog who will only need a day or two to blend in with a new family.  Unfortunately DiDi has experienced seizures, but that is successfully controlled with medication.  She is patiently waiting to join a loving family.
