Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Midge is a very sweet dog. She gets along with our dogs and very friendly towards kids and adults. She is very quiet and only barked once. Midge is not potty trained but we are working on it and she just finally used the doggie door so we hope the training will go more smoothly. She sleeps well in her kennel and walks well on a leash. Midge is treat motives and has done well in the car. Since her legs are longer than most Dachshunds she can jump on places that most can’t.
