Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Ginny is a very affectionate little girl. When I say little, I mean a petite 8 lb. Perfect arm candy. She loves both foster mom and foster dad, but she has really bonded with foster dad. She loves to nuzzle her face into your chest and give kisses. She had really rotten teeth when she came in to rescue so during her dental cleaning, she lost most of her teeth. She will need soft food and treats for the remainder of her life. She will gladly go potty outside if everybody is outside with her. She will also use a potty pad inside but she has missed the mark a few times. She must have received table scraps in a past life because she does beg at the table. We are working on her manners. She is a quiet girl but will chime in when other dogs in the house start barking. She gets along well with the male and female dogs in the house, but would prefer all the attention be on her. She really enjoys laying outside in the sunshine. Foster mom sometimes keeps the back door open for fresh air and Ginny will lay on the deck and sun her belly. She's not incredibly fond of the crate but will settle down. She would much rather be with her people. She is happiest when she is cuddling with her favorite human. Could that be you?
