Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Loki is a really friendly guy who loves belly rubs. He's a little timid at first but warms up quickly. He gets along very well with his male and female four-legged foster siblings. The two-legged little human makes him a bit nervous. I believe with adult supervision and time he would become more comfortable with little children. Older, considerate children would likely be just fine. He has become his foster Mom's shadow, following her everywhere she goes. It has taken him a little bit longer to get comfortable with foster dad than foster mom, but he has come around and is now giving kisses to everyone. He loves being out in the backyard laying in the grass, and chit chatting with the dogs on the other side of the fence. He's on the chunky side right now (24 lbs and should be 16 lbs), but we are measuring his meals and limiting treats. No people food or table scraps is key to maintaining a healthy body weight. A good walking routine will really help shed the pounds. Who doesn't love a good walk? Loki would really love to find his forever home. Could that be you?
