Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Toby a ttaches quickly to the right person. Loving and affectionate. Loves attention. Walks very well on leash - by your side or behind you. On walks, Toby would bark at some people and dogs. Have not established a pattern. He’s cautious/nervous, barking to protect himself (defense mechanism ). No problems with foster dog. Toby mostly ignores her. Does his business fast. Quite an escape artist. Slips out through doors easily but he won’t go far or fast after slipping out. Not greedy with food. Eats slowly, which is amazing for a dachshund.  Toby is housetrained.
