What a great dog!!! Clearly, Scarlett has amazing good looks, with Farrah Fawcett hair, but she has an equally charming personality, and good manners to match. She is a very loving dog, and is very eager to please. She’s always happy to see you! She came to us, house broken, knowing how to use the dog door, and sleeping in her kennel. She’s very smart, and mostly will do what you ask her. Scarlett gets along with her foster brothers, but is most concerned about attention from the people. She is 100% dachshund and 300% cuddle bug. Ear scritches and belly rubs are a MUST. She will remind you with a nudge, if you are slacking on the job. She would do well in a home with other dogs, or as an only dog. As a typical dachshund, she has a built in alarm, to keep you safe from all sorts of strange noises. She can bark with great enthusiasm, but does not bark often, and quiets down when asked. She will make a great addition to her forever home.
