Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Ginger is a beautiful red long hair pup who is looking for a loving adoptive family. She is leash and crate trained. She willingly enters her crate to spend a quiet peaceful night. Ginger has been microchipped, spayed, dental, and had her vaccinations and rabies all brought up to date. This sweet dog maybe a bit larger than some of the other dachshunds, but is a graceful, gentle lady. She likes to snuggle up as your couch companion. It did not take long for Ginger to make friends with the other dogs at her foster house. She really impressed her foster parents with her manners and immediate responses to basic commands to come, sit, lay down, and even offers her paw when requested. This is a very attentive dog who is eager to please. Ginger will be a welcome addition to any family!
