Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Jackson has slowly blossomed and is daily making progress toward enjoying his foster home. This sweet little guy seems to prefer to be called “Archie”. DRoH has lovingly provided the needed care for this pup who has spent several weeks recovering from injuries due to a possible incident of being hit by a car. Because of his broken ribs, Archie is not yet able to welcome being physically picked up. Archie gets along very well with his three foster brothers. He has chosen several toys that seem to have become his favorites. He is house trained and crate trained. Archie will put himself to bed when “Time For Bed” is announced and spends a quiet night snuggling in his crate. Archie will appreciate finding a compassionate and patient adopter who is willing to encourage him to blend into their loving family as he continues on his recovery path.
