Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Kassy is a young, fun girl that loves toys and playing. In fact, I call her Sassy Kassie because true to typical Dachshund form, she's the boss LOL. Shredding toys, playing and eating are her favorite things to do. She does well in a crate but would rather be with you in bed. She is very friendly and greets visitors with enthusiasm. She is so smart! She learned how to use the dog ramp in just a couple of minutes. She runs to the back door to let you know she is ready to go outside and potty. She has had a couple of accidents but that's to be expected at a new home. If she gets nervous or gets too excited she does do a little tinkle so it's best to take her straight outside when you get home.
If you are in the chair, she wants to be in the chair, if you are at the table, she wants to be at the table.
She loves our toddler and playing tug. She is protective of her meals so don't bother her while she's eating.
She is a lovable girl and she gives sweet kisses and enjoys belly rubs.
