Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Ginger & Sophie were dearly loved by their owner Jacki, who came down with terminal Cancer. She kept them until she died and her last wish was for them to come to DRoH to have a safe place to live out their lives. Do you have a warm spot for one of Jackie's dogs? Ginger and Sophie are sisters. Update from their foster mom: Sophie is the mini. She is so sweet and tiny, and becoming more so every day as she responds well to her diet. Soon she will be as trim as her pack mates. Ginger is the more independent, liking attention but preferring to settle into a bed or their shared crate when hanging out with her people. She is an enthusiastic but slower walker due to an enlarged pad on her rear paw. These two will be your instant family - they adapt quickly to new situations and are loving, entertaining and a joy to be around.
