Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Sage has yet to meet a stranger! He loves everyone who comes to visit his foster family, both people and other dogs. He doesn't bark much, but can growl, grunt and whine! He loves toys and has destroyed several trying to get the squeaker out. He is a busy and active boy! He is very patient waiting for dinner time, and respects his foster sibling's food bowls. He likes to snuggle with his foster siblings or burrow under a blanket on the couch. He is a bit of an escape artist, so we use caution when going to the garage or front door. He's learning simple commands. He's not aggressive at all and will roll over onto his back to prove his submissiveness. At 10 pounds and somewhere around 5 years old, he's a handsome young man who acts much younger!
