Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

From her foster mom -
Well, Mary Poppins is a little sweetie.  She is a 10.3 lb. young dog (vet info says 12 mos. but she may be younger).  Her teeth are in excellent condition without any plaque so that leads me to believe she is either a young dog or had her teeth brushed.  She greeted me by instantly rolling over and wanting a tummy rub.  I went ahead and took her to Petco so she could pick out her own toy and surprisingly she knew what squeakie toys were all about.  She loves them!  She didn't meet a stranger at Petco and greeted men, ladies and kids with a wagging tail and a wish to be pet.  She was quite friendly.  She met her foster sisters without any hesitation and after a few minutes the toys were out and the games were being played.  Her first encounter with the cat was one of curiosity and caution, which is wise as the cat, at best, tolerates the dogs.  The cat warned her and Mary Poppins heeded the warning, but continued to watch her with curiosity.  The vet let me know that she never pee'd in her crate and when I took her outside she instantly relieved herself.  We'll see how the house training goes, but so far so good.  Her fur is silky soft but she had a few matted sections on her head that I removed.  She allowed me to brush her, clean her ears, bathe her, and clean her teeth without any issues.  (I wish my own pups were as tolerant.)  So far, I haven't heard much from her except and occasional light whine.  She hasn't barked or growled.  Luckily I have an abundance of toys and it appears they will all be strewn around the house.  There's nothing better than a happy dog!
