Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

 Hi! My name is Bindi and I am getting all the care I need so that I'll be ready for my forever family.  I didn't waste any time getting comfortable and I love to be loved. If you need a shadow then I'm happy to help.  I will follow you everywhere, just in case you are in need of a wagging tail, wiggling behind or a warm body on your lap.

I may be a little apprehensive when I meet new people and dogs, but I warm up very quickly when I realize that you just want to love on me! I love food, snacks and an occasional hibiscus flower.  I will happily voice my opinion when you head over to the pantry because I know good things come from there.  I walk well on a leash, tolerate cats and I'm willing to go outside to do my business as long as it's not raining outside.  (I don't particularly care for wet paws.)  If needed, you can put a pee pad down and I will happily use it.  I also don't mind crates.

I love to cuddle with my foster mom, foster dad and my four legged foster sisters while we watch tv, and I love to play with them as well. When I'm happy, I bend and wiggle my whole body!  My tail is a bit shorter than the average dachshund tail, but that doesn't stop me from wagging it constantly! I know how to use it and I know it just adds to my charm! Money can buy a lot of things but it can't wiggle it's backside every time you walk in the door.  

I have one goal in life:  Love and be Loved!

I'm now accepting applications to find my forever family - pick me! You won't regret it!
