Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

April Jones is a 10 pound, brown eyed girl and if you dare to look into those deep brown eyes then she will surely melt your heart. If that doesn't work, then just talk to her and she will tilt her little head which will surely put you on cuteness overload. She is a very well mannered young lady (a little under a year) and so far is doing well with house training. She seems to enjoy her foster sisters (which is like looking in a mirror for her) but she's also fine alone. Have a cat? No problem. She pretends they don't exist. She adapted to her schedule very quickly and seems to do well having one. She will follow her humans wherever they go and should they decide to sit and relax then you can count on her to be right there next to you....touching, of course. April has learned the enjoyment of toys but her favorite toys are tennis balls. She's an easy and enjoyable dog, but be careful, it doesn't take long to fall in love with her.
