Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Jill is beautiful both inside and out. She needs some time to warm up to and trust new people, but if you have patience and show her lots of love, it will be well worth the love you receive back from her!
She has a silky classic red coat and is losing some weight as suggested. She walks pretty well on a leash with a harness.
She is housetrained and she sleeps well in her crate at night, although she’d be fine in a dog bed or in your bed!
She is beginning to show her personality a bit more now that she’s comfortable with her foster family. She loves other dogs and would do best having a companion dog to pal around with. She is starting to carry toys around a bit so has a playful nature. Her favorite thing is to snuggle with her humans and four-legged companions on the couch!
