Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Ginger was found walking the street Thanksgiving day. She is about 4 years old and is a cuddle bug, loves going for walks, playing with squeaky toys and loves those hard braided chewies. Ginger gets along with other dogs her size and takes her time eating, doesn’t inhale her food. She doesn’t chew on shoes or furniture. She stays in the kitchen when I’m not home. Loves to sleep with you or in her own bed near yours. She wants to be where ever you are and loves to ride in the car. I have taught her commands; sit and stay. She waits for permission to go out the door, you go first. She will chase a squirrel in a heartbeat and doesn’t like cats. She is good with kids.
