Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

I am Dottie's foster mother, Kathleen. I have been her foster mom for 4 wonderful months. My family has had several foster dogs over the past three years, but Dottie is by far the best one we have ever had. She is so loving and sweet. She doesn't play much, but she loves to snuggle with her human brothers and watch cartoons in the morning and sit on my husband's lap. She is very much a man's dog. She is great in a crate and on a leash. She was amazing at the dog show. She walked around like a pro and was not bothered by any of the commotion. She even won a ribbon at the barn hunt. She loves to sit in the backyard and watch for birds and squirrels.
She will make you so happy. Please consider making her part of your family.
