Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Ellie is a sweet, little doll. She loves to cuddle and give kisses. When she wags her tail, she wags her entire body. She hasn't had an indoor "accident" since the first week she came into foster care. She knows when it is time to go out and waits patiently at the door for you to put her harness on.

She sleeps in her crate without a peep, but would love to sleep in your bed with you! She loves to look out windows.

If an animal - especially a dog - is on TV, she watches very intently, furrowing her brow. If the dog barks, she barks back.

She will follow you around adoringly and you will be the center of her world.

Tiny and beautiful, she would be great in an apartment or a home. She loves to tear up paper and napkins, so beware leaving those items within her reach!  She really likes to gnaw on rawhide bones and hide them for later.

She can be shy around new people, but quickly warms up, and she loves other dogs.
