Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Bella is shy and timid at first. But, once she warms up, you couldn’t 

ask for a better companion for you or your other dog. Bella needs a 

dog buddy, to cuddle with, play with, and be crated with. She goes 

willingly into the crate if her buddy is with her. She is housetrained, 

and goes to the door when she needs to go out. She “dances” when 

she is excited or it’s time to eat. She co-sleeps with her foster parents 

and her foster siblings at night. She will growl to protect her food or 

toy, but hasn’t shown any signs of being physically aggressive. She 

is amazing with kids who know how to behave around animals. She 

becomes frightened with rough play. She will worm her way quickly 

into your heart with her loving eyes, and her sweet disposition.
