Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

She is a very sweet dog! House trained, crate trained, does not bark when at home and minds exceptionally well. She has a lot of energy so would be very happy with another dog and a yard. But she's also great about entertaining herself with toys. She is such a playful pup that having a companion dog for her would help to wear her out, but she doesn't necessarily have to have another dog around all the time. The good thing is after she's had some activity, she is a great nap taker. She knows how to walk on leash, but she is pretty strong, so a good harness helps with the pulling. When she sees another dog, she can get very excited and sometimes the other dog can be turned off by that, but we're working on training her to stay calm when there's other animals near by. She does great with her foster siblings, but just needs a little extra time meeting strange dogs. However, at the dog park, she was a social butterfly.
Brinley absolutely loves people. In fact she's never met a stranger because she jumps in your lap about 2 seconds after meeting you. And while during the day she has a lot of exuberance and energy, at night, she is the BEST sleeper in the world! In bed with her human is her preferred sleeping spot. She wants to touch you and snuggle really close. In fact, you can kind of hug her like a stuffed animal most of the night - and don't worry about her waking you up before your alarm - she likes to sleep in as long as you'll let her.
This young girl would make a great addition to any family, especially an active one with kids. She's more standard in size, making her really sturdy and athletic. Her coat is very unique with her tiger strips, and it's so soft and shiny, which is hard to see in her pictures. Please consider letting this young girl join your family. You'll be glad you did.
