Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Vince Howard is a loving, kind hearted, sweet man. He may be an older gentleman, but has plenty of energy and love to go for walks.  He is happy to hang out with people or other pups. He easily makes himself at home wherever he goes. He enjoys stuffed toys and chew toys and playing with his foster sister. He absolutely loves the laser pointer and racing around the house. He's mostly house trained -- had one little accident in the middle of the night but otherwise he goes outside. Most of all, he loves to cuddle up in any free lap. He would love to cuddle all day and night long if you let him.  Vince is talkative and will bark really loud when the door bell rings, when cars drive by or when someone is outside that doesn’t belong. I am your typical Dachshund barker! We are working at getting more comfortable in the crate and being alone during the day.  He is hard at work getting back to full health. He is naturally sweet and very affectionate.
